Lindt Cafe Sydney

This was the third time i have visited lindt cafe. Their opening hours have changed slighty they are open till 9pm on Thursdays now. Arrived at around 4:30 with the place packed out. Ordered the Excellence cake which was on the cheaper side $6.00 and the hot chocolate. The coffee macaroon's filling was a bit rich like a chocolate mud cake. Apparently there is going to be another lindt cafe opening at King Street Wharf I heard but don't know if it is true though.

Yum Cha @ Newtown

This year I think I have been to Yum Cha less than half a dozen times. Vegetarian yum cha even more rare. The potato balls and the pumpkin one ( which was shaped like fried tofu) were the best out of them. Apart from that Yum Cha place ( Green Gourment) on King St in Newtown there were variety of cuisine on that street.

Whole blueberry inside the glutinous dessert $2 each.

The pumpkin dim sum on the right.

Reacquaintances

In the pass week ate some food which I haven't had for a long time. Don't think I had tawianese food since I was in city ages ago with soy milk and chinese dount wrapped in egg. I tried the Sam Pei chicken rice which had chicken , tofu with a sweet sour sauce. Sam Pei Rice means Three cups ( one cup of chinese wine , sesame oil , soy sauce ). The sauce with the chicken was a bit strong.

Can't remember the last time I had marinated squid maybe it was with my grandpa who loved chinese bbq meats. Didn't really filled me up for dinner but luckily I wasn't that hungry.

Pancakes at the Rocks finally Re-opened

Pancakes finally reopened. Haven't been there since August after someone's birthday party. Wasn't really that hungry though. Tried a bit of everything , the ribs weren't as good as Tony Roma's and Hogs Breath. I ended ordering the Mexican Potato which was quite nice except the meat sauce tasted similar to the meat they have on Nachos. Pesto and Pine Nut bread crust was nice since they actually roast the pine nuts which make it quite crispy.

Didn't really notice the renovations except they painted the wall and probably created more seatings upstairs. Don't anyone esle notice any major changes?
